The ongoing partnership between German sportswear brand adidas and multi-hyphenate Pharrell Williams has been rather quiet as of late. However, Pharrell himself has been anything but out of the spotlight as his tenure at Louis Vuitton as the men’s creative director continues to dominate headlines. Though it’s about time for his work with the Three Stripes to continue as a new version of the duo’s collaborative Hu NMD S1 RYAT has appeared.

Having introduced the silhouette officially in 2022, various colorways have adorned the bulky sneaker and a new “Indigo” look has been assembled for Fall/Winter 2023. Its unique structure sees blue hues dress it in its entirety — save for light gray and lilac accents spread carefully throughout. The rugged upper again utilizes rope laces and spotlights Humanrace branding at the tongue while the hefty sole unit sees its layer of BOOST material encased by various blue notes and the shoe’s signature TPU plugs on each side. Underneath, the Trefoil logo is spread across the outdoor-ready outsole to round things out.

While this latest collaboration between Pharrell Williams and adidas on the Hu NMD S1 RYAT has not yet been officially announced, it has released early via regional adidas websites. Look for it to touch down on shelves globally in the coming months via adidas and select retailers at a starting price of $250 USD.
