The Nike Air Humara Receives the "Oreo" Treatment

Nike keeps its sneakerhead fanbase on its toes as it continues to lean on the past, present and future with its curation of footwear silhouettes. While the brand pushes forward, it similarly reflects on the past and looked back to 1997’s Air Humara earlier this year to give it a retro run following Jacquemus’ take on the model last year.

Now, the Swoosh has equipped the sneaker with the all-too-familiar “Oreo” color arrangement — pairing a predominantly-black finish with light gray detailing throughout. The upper utilizes a combination of a textile at its base and suede at the overlays while leather Swooshes take shape in gray, matching the toe panel, “AIR” branding and the accents spread across the lacing system. The silhouette’s traditional checkered midsole returns in black and gray while the rubber outsole favors a black finish.

At the time of writing, Nike has not announced when this “Oreo” colorway of the Air Humara will be made available. However, you can expect it to touch down on shelves via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $160 USD later this year.
