Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have officially unveiled the release date of their highly-anticipated album, WELCOME 2 COLLEGROVE.

The joint record is set to drop November 17 via Def Jam Recordings and serves as the sequel to their 2016 collab project, ColleGrove. The title is a portmanteau of the two rappers’ hometowns: College Park, Georgia, where 2 Chainz is from, and Hollygrove, New Orelans, where Weezy is from. Its official release date arrives more than a year after reports of a drop date hit in the internet, when Chainz shared that they were expecting the album to release in 2022.

ColleGrove, which was technically billed as 2 Chainz’s third studio album due to Wayne’s label issues at the time, dropped in March 2016 and went on to peak at No. 4  on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.

Stream the single “Presha” on Spotify and Apple Music. Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz’s WELCOME 2 COLLEGROVE drops November 17.

Elsewhere in music, Stones Throw and Roland released a limited edition SP-404MKII.
