BEAMS and Polo Ralph Lauren have collaborated on a new collection that carries a youthful spirit. Dubbed the “High School Student” capsule, the partnership is a nod to the Japanese high school kids who would subtly incorporate Polo into their uniforms back in the 1990s.

Knitwear is a focal point within the partnership, from cardigans and sweater vests to jumpers and chino pants. While most the collection comes in neutral colors, such as off white and navy, the standout piece includes a chino pant with a relaxed straight cut fit, made in a timeless black watch tartan.

As for accessories, a black watch tartan cap will be available with a navy polo logo in the center. There will also be a pair of knit socks, available in navy and off white, which features the polo logo at top, as well as on the ankle. For those looking to purchase, the “High School Student” capsule will drop on October 28 at BEAMS’ online shop and stores across Japan.

Elsewhere, Hypebeast Goods and Services drops minimalist capsule collection.
