COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Prepares the New Balance 1906R in Two Colorways
Featuring black and white finishes releasing next month.
COMME des GARÇONS HOMME, while revered for its artfully-constructed menswear, has established a presence in the footwear scene, in part thanks to New Balance. The two brands have connected to produce black and white looks across many of the American sportswear brand’s most popular silhouettes. Last fall, the 550 was outfitted in two co-branded looks while the springtime of 2023 ushered in a pair of looks on the 580.
Now, the Japanese label has prepared the New Balance 1906R in two black and white finishes. The primarily-white pair sees its intricately-detailed upper covered in white while the heel cage and sole unit favor an all-black finish that brings out the shoe’s sleek shape. As for the black presentation of the shoe, its only color comes courtesy of the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME branding hit at the tongue and sockliner, appearing in white atop the all-black sneaker.
The latest collaboration between COMME des GARÇONS HOMME and New Balance arrives on November 17 with both of these 1906R colorways releasing via COMME des GARÇONS HOMME authorized retailers such as Dover Street Market at a starting price of ¥46,200 JPY (approx. $308 USD).
