Tumbled Leather Mudguards Hit the Nike Air Max 97
Boasting a white, beige, and black color palette.
In 2023, the Air Max 97 enters its 26th year, and Nike shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to introducing new colorways of the low-cut model. Two iterations of the Air Max 97 recently joined the “Athletic Company” collection and now the pair arrives in a simplistic white, black, and beige colorway.
White tumbled leather mudguards start things off, running through the lower perimeter of the sneaker. Minimal beige edges sit atop, curved black mesh and leather panels cover the upper half and tonal windows at the medials allow for darkened Nike Swooshes to peek through.
Rear tabs boast standard Air Max branding, while white lacing systems surround embroidered Nike Swooshes on the tongues. Full-length Air footbeds are exposed through the midsoles, complete with black rubber outsoles.
