As Nike integrates some of its favorite runner and lifestyle silhouettes into golf, most of its focus for the Air Max line has been placed on the 90 and 97. However, just last month Nike revealed a brand new AM1 Golf in the signature “Sport Red” assemblage, and now the brand is gearing up to introduce the shoe in a more understated “Black/White” colorway that recalls a release from 2015.

Consisting of a primarily black upper, the mesh sections, mudguards and mid foot paneling are all treated in the dark hue, while the Swooshes and Nike logos on the tongues and heels pop out in white. The midsole is where the AM1 Golf really stands out, as the white Air Max unit is enlarged a la the ‘86 Big Bubble.

While no release date has surfaced yet, you can expect these to land sometime around spring of this year.

In other golf related news, Netflix has reveled a trailer for its Drive to Survive style documentary of the 2022 PGA TOUR season.
