Nike Dresses the Air Max 1 '87 in Wild Animal Prints
Featuring tiger stripes, cowhide patterns, and paisley prints.
Following the release of a “Coconut Milk” iteration covered in stripes and reptilian patterns, Nike now dresses its Air Max 1 ‘87 in a mix of animal prints once again. In a mix of predator and prey, the upcoming iteration features an eclectic mix of patterns including brushed cowhide patterns on the mudguard, tiger stripes across the side Swooshes, paisley prints across the heel counter, and cloudlike finishes on the toe box.
Other details include tumbled leather side panels, black satin lining, and velvet laces. Rounding out the look are striped insoles, sail midsoles equipped with transparent Air units, and light blue grooved outsoles. Alternative white laces come with the set.
