Following the viral paint can bag last year, Louis Vuitton continues to release a selection of jovial accessories, sure to turn an eye. The most recent gives fans food for thought over a Fortune Cookie-themed bag that was first seen on the Paris Fashion Week runway for Spring/Summer 2023.
The French luxury maison drops the playful bag, designed as a 2-in-1 accessory. The collectible leather clutch comprises of a cookie-shaped bag made of calf leather and comes in a transparent PVC packaging. The see-through encasing is designed to look like a fortune cookie wrapper, even featuring its own list of ingredients. The front sees a faded monogram branding across the edges as well as Louis Vuitton’s titular branding in Virgil Abloh‘s purple palette, along with a fun, cartoon-like label.
The cookie itself is a wristlet, featuring a leather slap of the same color and make. The pouch also features an all over classic LV print. Staying true to the original fortune cookie where each one features a message, each Fortune Cookie bag also comes with a secret note, including one that reads, “Creativity listens to the heart,” as pictured above.
