LOEWE Teases Forthcoming ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ Collection
Reuniting with Studio Ghibli for a new capsule.
Having released the Juergen Teller-shot Spirited Away collection last year, LOEWE reunites with Studio Ghibli for the pair’s third, and final, collaborative capsule.
Drawing inspiration from Howl’s Moving Castle, the collection marks the ongoing relationship between the fashion house and the iconic Japanese animation studio. The first tease of the capsule appears to feature some of the movie’s most recognizable characters such as Kakashi no Kabu, Calcifer and Markl in his iconic disguise.
Similarly to the previous drops, expect to see the characters captured on a selection of products in true LOEWE style including ready-to-wear garments, bags and accessories.
The LOEWE x Howl’s Moving Castle collection is slated for global release on February 2 with online pre-sale on the brand’s website opening on February 1. Select orange-clad Calcifer pieces will be sold exclusively online.
