British brand MAXIME has just unveiled its latest collection, “Edition 5: The Beauty of Imperfection” — and you can see it IRL for the first time in Paris now.

Throughout the UK there is a wide variety of streetwear brands — such as Cortiez, Clints, and PICANTE — that are flying the British flag to the fullest. However, on the other hand, there’s also a collection of contemporary labels that are doing things in their own way with nothing but understated class in mind — one brand doing this is MAXIME.

Recently, the brand has presented several collections, such as “THE ESCAPE” capsule which made its IRL debut last year at Pitti Uomo’s Spring Summer 2022 Sustainability Showcase, as well as at Paris Fashion Week. Now, the brand’s new “The Beauty of Imperfection” capsule looks to explore the many stories that make up a home, along with the feelings of serenity, comfort, and security that come with it.

With this in mind, the collection starts with a selection of utility-inspired garments, all of which are crafted with soft and raw materials to create a selection of styles that combine vibrancy with basic. For example, the double-faced coat features a multi-fabric mix of alpaca, wool, mohair, and silk.

Additionally, a new M65 field jacket has been included — coming with matching curved-leg trousers — made from a color jacquard fabric. “The Beauty of Imperfection” also features new knitwear, including textured merino wool sweaters as well as duo-color jumpers and hoodies with embroidered details.

Rounding off the collection, MAXIME has presented a number of accessories and footwear designs such as strapped workboots, woven belts, cross-body messenger, and house logo-shaped leather wallets.

You can take a closer look at the new MAXIME collection above and it is available to see in-person from now until January 27 at Galerie Dohyang Lee, 73 rue Quincampoix, 75003 Paris.
