Take a Closer Look at JW Anderson FW23's Frog Clutch Bag
Could it be a part of the Wellipets drop or is it just the Pigeon Clutch Bag’s best friend?
Jonathan Anderson‘s eponymous label, JW Anderson, debuted its subversive Fall/Winter 2023 collection earlier this week in Milan, and stealing the show was not just its collaboration with Wellipets, but a particularly friendly-looking friend. Tucked under the model’s arm and grasped tightly in their hand was a new clutch bag — shaped like a frog.
It is not known whether the Frog Clutch Bag is simply a direct follow-up to FW22’s Pigeon Clutch Bag, or if it is also made in collaboration with Wellipets. The difference being, if it is the latter, the Wellipets clogs — and now the accompanying Frog Clutch Bag — are set to arrive sometime this April at both of the collaborator’s outposts.
From Princess Diana dressing Harry and William in the brand to walking the runway at Milan Fashion Week FW23, Wellipets has had quite the resurgence thanks to the ever-nostalgic Anderson. In his usual ways, the designer adds a hinge to its mouth, allowing you to access the pocket inside, while a hyper-realistic finish and big yellow eyes complete things (similar to those from Wellipets).
