Earlier this week, Vin Diesel announced that the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Fast X movie would be released in two weeks via an image of him fist-bumping new co-star Jason Momoa. A few days later, we get the first official poster for the film featuring Diesel’s Dom Toretto clutching his cross pendant with the title text “The End of the Road Begins.”

Fast X is set to be the first of a two-part finale, with the second film releasing in 2024 to complete the Fast and Furious franchise. The film will continue the events of F9, featuring Charlize Theron‘s Cipher who recruits a new villain named Dante played by Momoa. Other new faces include Captain Marvel actor Brie Larson who joins the returning cast including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, John Cena, and others. The Rock‘s Hobbs will notably not make a return and french filmmaker Louis Leterrier from the Transporter franchise has replaced Justin Lin as the director of Fast X.

Fast X is set to premiere in theaters on May 19, 2023. Its untitled sequel will arrive in theaters shortly after on February 2024.
