PLAY COMME des GARÇONS and K-Way Come Together for Second Apparel Collaboration
New colorways of the Leon and Claude jackets for adults and kids have been readied.
Collaborative projects have been spewing out from COMME des GARÇONS and its various labels in recent memory. We recently captured the brand team up with Alpha Industries for military-inspired jackets as well as linked up with PORTER to produce a holiday bag collection. And now PLAY COMME des GARÇONS is garnering attention for its second team-up with K-Way to follow up their initial initiative from 2021.
For this project, the two parties expand on their existing range of styles through new interpretations of the French outerwear brand’s signature Leon Half Zip and Claude Full Zip jacket silhouettes for both adults and kids. Engineered from durable ripstop nylon, the pieces are brandished with co-branded hits that feature K-Way‘s logo along with a set of PLAY CDG’s heart logos on the left chest. The installments for adults are fashioned with black sleeves while the front and back panels are styled in yellow, blue or beige while the offerings for kids come in navy, blue, white, red an beige.
The collection launches Thursday, January 12 via all CDG and Dover Street Market stores globally as well as DSM E-SHOPs while a CDG wholesale clients will be dropping theirs after. The kids’ pieces will retail for $180 USD and the adults are priced at $220 USD.
