Nike's Air Max 97 "Golden Bullet" Restocks Next Week
Following the re-release of the OG “Silver Bullet” colorway.
Update: Earlier this year, the Nike Air Max 97 “Golden Bullet” returned to shelves for the first time since 2018. Now, Nike has prepared a US-based SNKRS release of the sneaker taking place on March 7 at a price of $185 USD. For more information, dive into our previous coverage below.
Original Story: Following the re-release of the iconic “Silver Bullet” colorway on the 25th anniversary of the Air Max 97 silhouette last November, Nike now readies its “Golden Bullet” sister colorway for later this week.
First released in 1999 and last seen in 2018, the classic “Golden Bullet” colorway is dressed in metallic gold uppers comprised of a mesh base and synthetic leather piping. Arriving in the same overall design as the original, oval tongue tabs and side Swooshes are accented in red and black while similarly-toned heel pull loops display “air max” gold foil text. The inner lining is done up in black and rounding out the look are white midsoles equipped with the AM97’s iconic full-length Air unit and black-and-white outsoles.
Take an official look at the Air Max 97 “Golden Bullet” above and expect the pairs to return in select regions on January 13 via Nike and select retailers for $185 USD.
