Official Images of UNDERCOVER and Nike's Air Force 1/Air Revaderchi Hybrid in White
Equal parts chaos and balance — with a GORE-TEX lining to boot.
UNDERCOVER and Nike’s unique Air Force 1 collab — a design that brings in elements of Nike ACG’s multi-use Air Revaderchi from 1992 — was first seen all the way back in June 2021, when it was shown as part of UNDERCOVER’s SS22 collection. More than a year later, official images of one of its three colorways have surfaced. The angelic all-white pair is the one in question, and although its color palette is all classic AF-1, there are plenty of notable tweaks to be had as well.
From a construction standpoint, UNDERCOVER has juxtaposed the Air Revaderchi’s plastic heel counter, unique top eyestay and Huarache-like neoprene collar onto a traditional Air Force 1 Low upper for a design that’s equal parts hiker and hoops shoe. Of course, there’s plenty of memorable branding to be seen too. The rubberized tongue badge features an UNDERCOVER hit in place of the Air Revaderchi’s standard ACG graphic, while lace deubres boast UNDERCOVER’s familiar “Chaos” and “Balance” text. For the cherry on top of the proverbial sneaker sundae, the UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Force 1 is also lined with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, which is acknowledged by a small black tag on the lateral forefoot.
We’re currently without a release date for the UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Force 1 but UNDERCOVER’s SS22 collection has been available for months, indicating that this special sneaker may have fallen victim to the supply chain issues that have plagued the world of sneakers for the last year and a half. Keep it locked for release information as soon as it’s made available.
In the meantime, be sure to get a first look at the forthcoming Supreme x Nike SB Blazer Mid “Industrial Blue.”
