Saucony never strays too far from the food world when it comes it crafting playful sneakers. In the past, we’ve seen the brand serve up an iteration inspired by avocado toast, an installment that channels the vibe of a pineapple and an offering inspired by a food fight, and now the American sportswear imprint has whipped up a brand new Shadow 6000 installment that’s influenced by the classic New York cheesecake.
Ingredients from the sugary dessert are incorporated across the entire upper of the shoes. Its perforated leather build is generated with an off-white exterior, and this comes complemented by rosy pink overlays that are located on the quarter panels and the mudguards. The rear windows, Saucony logos, tongues and laces all come dripped in red to mimic the delectable strawberry glaze topping that is often associated with the post-dinner treat. Additionally, actual strawberry icons are placed onto the tongues which host Saucony branding as well as in all-over fashion across the insoles. Down below, the yellow and brown bottoms are designed to portray graham cracker crust.
Parties who are interested in picking up a pair can find these available now via Saucony for $140 USD.
In other news, Saucony recently teamed up with TOMBOGO for a new collaboration.
