POP MART is bringing “THE MONSTERS” 10th Anniversary World Tour” to New York City this summer with an immersive exhibition spanning 6,000 square feet and nine individually produced galleries. Opening on Friday, July 17, and running through August 31, the show marks the first time the exhibition has been staged in the United States, following stops in Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong, Paris, and Tokyo. It also marks creator Kasing Lung‘s first visit to the US.
The exhibition is structured across nine galleries, each designed to transport visitors through a different phase of THE MONSTERS‘ history. The journey begins with Lung’s original character sketches for LABUBU, ZIMOMO, and TYCOCO and traces the evolution of the franchise over its ten-year run. POP MART describes each gallery as uniquely produced, suggesting distinct environmental and visual treatments from room to room rather than a single continuous walkthrough. The full experience occupies 6,000 square feet in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.
The exhibition concludes with a gift shop stocked with items from the full 10th Anniversary collectibles and accessories collection, available while supplies last. The merchandise component positions the show as both a retrospective experience and a retail event, giving attendees direct access to anniversary-edition product that extends the exhibition beyond the gallery walls.
“THE MONSTERS 10th Anniversary World Tour” opens Friday, July 17, and runs through August 31.
