AURALEE x New Balance 2002R Collab Receives Release Date
Arriving in two understated colorways.

Boston sportswear name New Balance and Tokyo-based lifestyle label AURALEE are continuing their longstanding partnership — stretching back to GORE-TEX R_C2 iterations in 2019 — with the introduction of two new 2002R colorways. The upcoming colorways arrive in a “Yellow beige” luxe suede and mesh combination as well as a predominately off-white mesh and smooth leather variation.
Both shoes are accented with sage green and light brown panels towards the heel and inner lining as well as silver metallic accents on the pill-shaped tongue tags and heel tabs. Rounding out the designs are springy N-ERGY midsoles and durable rubber outsoles. Co-branding is displayed exclusively on the co-branded footbeds.
AURALEE takes inspiration from a variety of influences for the collaboration, from the weather to the designer’s travels. The result are relaxed earth-toned pairs that balance simplicity with modernity.
The AURALEE x New Balance 2002R is set to release September 9 on the New Balance website and at select retailers for $155 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, adidas’ Forum Mid arrives in a Bauhaus-inspired “Patchwork” colorway.
