After connecting with Siberia Hills for a collaborative series, FOSTEX GARMENTS has now tapped mastermind JAPAN to reimagine its iconic Camouflage MA-1 Bomber Jacket. The Fall/Winter 2022 release sees the storied Japanese imprint offer its take on FOSTEX GARMENTS’ MA-1 bomber jacket that famously served as the base for Raf Simons‘ Fall/Winter 2001 “Riot! Riot! Riot!” Bomber.

The mastermind JAPAN x FOSTEX GARMENTS Skull Camouflage MA-1 Bomber Jacket comes in “Green Camouflage” and “Grey Camouflage” color options that express mastermind JAPAN’s signature skull and crossbones motif at the rear. The jacket features an oversized fit and is treated with a special vintage garment wash treatment for the striking faded effect throughout. Additional detailing on the jacket comes in the form of a skull and crossbones embroidery on the interior, D-ring at the collar, and zippers on the back of the sleeves.

The Los Angeles set lookbook for the collaboration is modeled by Mitch Modes of Life is War, who also serves as Creative Consultant for Playboi Carti‘s Opium record label and The Weeknd‘s XO, and shot by Creative Director of Opium and Saint Peter Showroom founder, Itsopiumbaby.

The mastermind JAPAN x FOSTEX GARMENTS Skull Camouflage MA-1 Bomber Jacket collaboration is available now at GR8 with a wider global release at select retailers expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
