Lil Baby and Gunna have gone diamond for their 2018 single “Drip Too Hard.” Produced by Turbo, a frequent collaborator of both rappers, the song served as the lead track on their 2018 collaborative LP, Drip Harder, released via YSL Records.

“Drip Too Hard” made waves as it peaked at the fourth spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It would go on to earn a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap/Sung Performance at the Best Rap/Sung Performance.

The song also received a music video directed by Spike Jordan, which currently clocks in at over eighty million views.

Four years after its release, “Drip Too Hard” is just the 86th song to be certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), making this a major achievement for Lil Baby and Gunna. The duo joins a list of accomplished artists, including Elvis Presley, Madonna, Prince, JAY-Z and more.
