Jacquemus Opens its First-Ever Boutique in Paris
Moving into a two-story Art Deco building on Avenue Montaigne.
Jacquemus has officially opened the doors to its first-ever boutique. Located at 58 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, the space two-story space spans 200 square meters of a 20th-century Art Deco building. Coated in clean all-white interiors, the store serves as a physical extension of Jacquemus’ Fall/Winter 2022 “Le Papier” runway staged held at the salt hills of Aigues-Mortes in the south of France.
From the outside, visitors are greeted with a glass storefront situated behind a greenery-lined walkway. On the right is a large cylindrical bank vault-looking ATM machine that distributes cups of popcorn. Stepping inside, the store exudes a calm and welcoming ambiance featuring a delicate mix of asymmetric plaster racks inspired by Giacometti, round mirrors taking cues from Pierre Cardin, and an oversized popcorn claw machine. In addition to the main shopping area, a VIP salon is also included for a more personalized experience.
“This is a dream come true for me, it’s very symbolic to be back Avenue Montaigne 11 years later. First time I was there was when I showed my 3rd collection during Vogue fashion night in front of everyone, back in 2011,” writes designer and founder, Simon Porte Jacquemus.
Jacquemus’ new Paris store dubbed La Boutique Montaigne is currently scheduled to run for the next five months until February 2023 with pop-ups scheduled in Paris and Milan. Take a closer look in the gallery above.
