Converse Welcomes Baby Keem to the Family
The GRAMMY-winning artist will explore multiple dimensions of the Chuck Taylor All-Star through his vision.

Baby Keem has had quite the busy schedule lately entertaining arena crowds alongside his cousin Kendrick Lamar on The Big Steppers Tour, and before he heads out to Europe for another batch of shows, he’s bringing light to his latest initiative — an endorsement deal with Converse.
The GRAMMY award-winning rapper joins the heritage sportswear brand to explore multiple dimensions of the Chuck Taylor All-Star through his creative vision. To announce the partnership — which marks his first-ever brand deal — the 21-year-old rapper took to Instagram to unveil a short film that exhibits him holding up a cassette tape that reads “LP #2” — a possible hint at his follow-up album to The Melodic Blue — as well as the classic black and white Chuck Taylor Hi.
Keem has often been spotted rocking Chucks during his live performances and his pgLang family dropped a two-pronged Converse collection earlier this Summer, so this partnership certainly comes as no surprise. With this alliance, Keem joins the imprint’s growing roster that already has pro ballers Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Natasha Cloud, Alexis Sablone, Draymond Green as well as multi-hyphenate Tyler, the Creator.
