This year, Wrangler® is celebrating 75 years of durable, quality denim and the unique individuals its garments bring together. Although its pieces are often worn for their Western flair, the people who don and live in Wrangler have diverse backgrounds, stories, and interests — from rodeo cowboys to musicians.

Musicians have favored Wrangler for decades, counting on the quality pieces to last from show to show. Grammy award-winning musician Leon Bridges is a part of the proverbial Wrangler fan club and has been ever since his career began. He was discovered while wearing Wrangler, and then later, as a successful musician, he had a custom denim suit designed by the brand, which began a personal relationship that developed into this collaboration.

Since Leon and Wrangler’s relationship goes way back, it was a no-brainer for the two to celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary together. In honor of the impact Wrangler has had on the apparel industry as well as the wider world of pop culture, the beloved brand and the soulful singer collaborated to display the new 29-piece men’s and women’s collection.

Leon is the face of Wrangler’s men’s global product line, standing in as the brand new Mr. Wrangler. The limited-edition collab includes staple denim pieces informed by Wrangler’s signature Western style and new approaches to traditional silhouettes — such as cropped jackets and vests. Leon creatively directed the collection while on tour, alongside Wrangler’s design team, selecting decades-old archival pieces to use as inspiration for the new. As such, the assortment features an undeniable essence of his personal style as well, accented by a special Leon Bridges x Wrangler emblem on each.

Bringing together Leon’s stylistic touch as well as the denim brand’s ability to cater to many wearers, the collection fully embodies Wrangler’s celebrated character. The range is set to launch in the Fall of 2022 on wrangler.com.
