During the 50th anniversary of the Royal Oak, Audemars Piguet has now revealed a Blue Ceramic take on the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar. The latest brilliant rendering of AP’s highly-sought after watch model follows the Black Ceramic release back in 2017 and White Ceramic sequel that arrived in 2019.
The Blue Ceramic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar (ref. 26579CS.OO.1225CS.01) features a scratch-resistant colored ceramic octagonal bezel housing a thin profile grande tapisserie dial with white gold indexes and Super-LumiNova. Offering a look at the inner working of the 41mm watch is a clear case marked with “ROYAL OAK QUANTIEME PERPETUAL” that brings the case 20 meters water resistance.
The watch is outfitted with an ultra-thin self-winding AP caliber 5134 movement. At just 4.5mm in diameter, the 40-hour power reserve movement offers a perpetual calendar with week indication, day, date, astronomical moon, month, leap year, hours, and minutes. The special watch is completed by a matching integrated bracelet with a titanium AP folding clasp.
Pricing is available on request, the limited-by-production, Blue Ceramic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar is now available by appointment only. Head over to Audemars Piguet’s website to learn more about the special watch.
