"A.P.C. for Ron Herman JEAN STANDARD" Delivers Bespoke Wares
Focusing on the French label’s original denim fit.
For its latest collaboration, A.P.C. has come together with Ron Herman on a series of bespoke wares. Dubbed “APC for Ron Herman JEAN STANDARD,” the capsule collection focuses on the French label’s original denim fit.
Part of the 30th-anniversary celebrations of the JEAN STANDARD denim fit, the model is commonly referred to as the originator of A.P.C. Denim, helping establish the minimalist raw take on classic denim.
The “APC for Ron Herman JEAN STANDARD” range updates the fit with a sustainable selvedge denim fabric that mixes upcycled yarn and organic cotton. The straight, loose leg, high-rise fit is also dyed with environmentally friendly strong alkaline electrolyzed water and highly acidic electrolyzed water that has high bleaching, sterilizing, and color fixing effects. “APC for Ron Herman JEAN STANDARD” washes include classic indigo, blue and light blue.
Each pair of jeans features a five-pocket design, button fly, button at the waist, engraved rivets, back yoke, caramel-colored contrast topstitching, and A.P.C. tags.
Priced between ¥42,900 and ¥44,000 JPY (approximately $299 and $307 USD), the “APC for Ron Herman JEAN STANDARD” capsule collection is available now via Ron Herman.
