Salomon Honors Its 75th Anniversary With a New XT-6 Offering
Encapsulating the OG Adventure 7 heritage hiking shoe.
In celebration of its 75th anniversary, Salomon has constructed a new special edition XT-6 Expanse — paying homage to the beloved Adventure 7 sneaker. Lately, the technical sports gear brand has been conquering more than just the trails as its silhouettes can be seen on pavements within urban settings, but Salomon would still like to remind everyone of its hiking origins.
Aside from the XT-4, XT-Wings 2 and ACS Pro Advanced, the XT-6 has been a long fan favorite and is now seen embodying the Adventure 7 heritage colorway born in 1992. A duo of Golden Oak and Forest Green hues make for the heavy-duty canvas base and is fixed together with Acorn Brown suede overlays and black accents found throughout the design from top to bottom. The Fast-Lacing system is swapped out with retro laces paired with Sensifit tech and Endofit sock-like liner for full comfort and security. In all-black, the foam midsole showcases a full-length Agile Chassis System to complete the overall look and functionality for every kind of terrain.
