Technical wear has always had a place in fashion, however, it has been especially trendy in recent years. As a result, labels such as Salomon have transitioned from being simply a top-of-the-line performance brand to also emphasizing its involvement in fashion. Key backers of this movement include Palace and Boris Bidjan Saberi, both of which have consistently teamed up with Salomon, producing fresh ideas for the brand’s performance-oriented silhouettes. Now, yet another modern re-interpretation of an old-school Salomon model has resulted in the Speedverse PRG.
Pulling from the Speedcross, Salomon balances the past, present and future with the Speedverse PRG. Key inclusions in the shoe’s construction range from a mixed mesh upper with leather detailing, EVA foam injected midsole, OrthoLite sockliner and Mud Contragrip outsole. In “Triple Black,” the Speedverse PRG carries various shades of black with speckles towards the heel of the sole unit and silver Salomon Speedverse branding on the Quicklace lacing system and tongue, completing this sleek look.
Available now, the Salomon Advanced Speedverse PRG “Triple Black” can be purchased via HBX at a price of $155 USD.
Elsewhere in the world of footwear, Salomon teamed up with fellow outdoor label and wander on the XT-6 and Odyssey.
