Nike debuted the Alphafly NEXT% 2 earlier this year as an upgraded version of its record-breaking marathon runner. Described as “rocket ships made to help shave precious time off your personal records,” the pairs arrive as the pinnacle of Nike Running‘s long-distance performance capabilities.

The latest iteration is doused in electrifying “Total Orange” featuring updated Atomknit 2.0 uppers providing improved structure and breathability. Painted Nike swooshes stretch along the laterals in black while lightweight ribbed laces stretch over the tongue. The sole unit is where the runners pull away from the competition, incorporating a generous ZoomX foam platform, full-length carbon Flyplate, widened heel, and Zoom Air pucks for maximum energy return and stability.

Take an official look at the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% 2 “Total Orange” above and expect the pairs to release on Nike’s website and at select retailers in the coming weeks for $275 USD.

Elsewhere in footwear, DAIWA PIER39 delivers outdoor layering options for FW22.
