The BEAMS x Arc'teryx "DIMENSIONS" Capsule Will be Released Globally
Featuring the patchwork Beta jacket.
Arc’teryx has just announced that it is making its “DIMENSIONS” collection with BEAMS Japan available to the global market. Previously only available for the Japanese market, the partnership originally started in 2001 in celebration of BEAMS’ 25th anniversary.
This capsule is inspired by a bird’s-eye view of nature — mountains, farmland, deserts, forests, ice caps — merged with a human’s point of view when viewing nature on the trail — rocks, foliage, strata, sand — for hues inspired by micro and macro views of the outdoors, or “DIMENSIONS.”
Leading the release is the patchwork Beta jacket made from N30p 3L GORE-TEX fabric with GORE-KNIT™️ backer technology. This makes the jacket waterproof, moisture permeable, windproof, and soft, giving rise to a quieter jacket when movement is required. The collection is finished with the Mantis in multiple configurations — the backpack and Mantis 1 and 2 waistpacks. These carrying options range from 1.5L to 26L in volume. This drop is set to arrive on August 26 and is priced at ¥6,050 – ¥56,100 JPY (approximately $45 – $420 USD).
