Made to set new personal bests.
Nike officially revealed the second generation of its record-breaking marathon running sneaker, the Air Zoom AlphaFly Next% 2. The debut “Prototype” pairs arrive as the new pinnacle of Nike Running’s offerings, combining eye-catching form and proven technology to create the ultimate sneaker for distance road racing.
The upcoming pairs arrive in white breathable Atomknit 2.0 uppers with a black painted lateral Swoosh and bright “Total Orange” hits featured on the tongue tags. Highlighting the design is the thick and lightweight ZoomX foam sole unit featuring a full-length carbon plate, two Zoom Air pod systems, an extended chiseled heel, and “18240-14″ sharpie handwriting.
“These rocket ships are made to help shave precious time off your personal records without surrendering the foundation you need to go the full distance,” Nike writes in the description. “Enjoy the greatest energy return of all our racing shoes while you chase your personal bests.”
The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% 2 “Prototype” is now available in Europe for €305 EUR (approximately $317 USD) and will arrive globally in the coming weeks.
