It’s evident that New Balance and its ever-growing lifestyle category has this sneaker generation in a chokehold given that nearly every release it puts out sells out within minutes. The appetite for “dad shoes” is only growing larger, and the brand is certainly capitalizing on this by furthering its range with versatile colorways. Up next for its 990 series is a brand new New Balance 990v2 colorway that is accessorized with USA-inspired tones.

The kicks are predominantly styled with a creamy hue. It drops off on the tongues, quarter panels and mesh underlays up top, as well as the semi-chunky midsole pieces down below. From there, it’s the patriotic accents that get some showtime. Bold red hits are applied to the N logos, embroidered branding on the tongues, overlays on the heightened parts of the heel as well as the back end’s “USA” text, while notes of navy dress up the suede panels on the toe tips and rear. ABZORB cushioning is stuffed inside the bottoms for premium comfort with every step.

Interested in picking these up? Retailers like Extra Butter are dropping these on August 25 for $195 USD.

Elsehwere in the realm of kicks, a New Balance “Navy/Castlerock” 990v2 has been unveiled
