Whether Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, sizzling bacon or fresh caught lobsters, food and beverages have often inspired Nike and its design teams to construct various footwear colorawys. And this season, the Swoosh is building its delicious sneaker catalog with a brand new Nike Air Force 1 Mid makeup that pays tribute to Japanese Izakaya culture.

Given that often in Izakaya culture folks will rack up tons of smaller food items and multiple drinks, the Beaverton-based brand included a receipt embellishment that sticks out from the tongues. Instead of food items, the receipt details out a timeline of various years over the silhouette’s 40-year lifespan. Lateral heels also feature striking elements, the right shoe of which is embroidered with Japanese figures standing side-by-side while the left side is adorned with a star that likely nods to the Japanese brewing company Sapporo. The color palette is neutral-focused and comes fashioned with beige overlays and straps, angelic toe boxes, quarters and throats as well as solid black Swooshes.

Check out lifestyle shots of the kicks above, and note that retailers liker atmos Tokyo have these in stock for ¥15,400 (approx. $113 USD).
