LOEWE's Inflated Fall 2022 Sunglasses Will Grow On You

The “Mask,” “Rectangular” and “Cateye” styles are sure to become another eyewear hit under Jonathan Anderson’s Creative Direction.

Jonathan Anderson‘s LOEWE presented an inflated affair for the house’s Fall 2022 womenswear collection, blowing up balloons and applying them to dresses, tops, or creating handhold accessories that floated alongside bulbous footwear and more. As the seasonal collection begins to roll out, ready-to-wear accessories are also making their debut, such as this trio of LOEWE inflated sunglasses.

Available in either a “Mask,” “Rectangular,” or “Cateye” style in colors ranging from white or black to primary tones of yellow, red, or blue, the new selection of sunglasses are surely set to take over the rest of summer. This comes down to LOEWE’s eyewear dominance in recent years, with silhouettes such as the LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza rectangular acetate sunglasses from SS20 becoming a must-have item for fashionistas around the globe.

As for this trio of sunglasses, you have the choice of three styles that each serve their own retro-futuristic energy. The “Mask” is perhaps the most daring, sporting a uni-piece lense engulfed in a thick frame that extends on the sides with LOEWE-branded arms. The “Rectangular” style is comprised of two separate lenses, surrounded by a rounded rectangular frame and the same triangle-darted arms, while the “Cateye” is a contemporary take on a classic, more feminine style.

While the pairs are a part of LOEWE’s Fall 2022 womenswear collection, just like the aforementioned style from LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza, there’s no reason why these sunglasses cannot classify as unisex.

Check out all three pairs above, and head to LOEWE’s website now to cop the sunnies. Each iteration retails for $360 USD.
