A video of a security guard crying during Kendrick Lamar‘s recent performance of “LOVE.” has spread on the internet.

TikTok user Dejaih Smith shared the clip of the security guard, who later revealed himself to be Devyn Sanford, tearing up during K-Dot’s Houston show. The short clip shows Sanford wiping tears from his eyes and softly patting his chest, as he emotionally raps along the line “I’m like an exit away.”

Sanford hopped on TikTok to comment on the now-viral video and share that he granted the uploader permission to share the video. “That’s me in the post y’all,” he commented. “This song means EVERYTHING to me and I was feeling everybody around me emotions… definitely love getting paid to do this.” In his own video, Sanford said, “It’s f*cking Kendrick Lamar, of course I was crying, dog.”

Lamar recently kicked off his Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers 2022 tour, and will be touring across North America, Europe, UK, Australia and New Zealand until December.

Elsewhere in music, Megan Thee Stallion x Future, Joey Bada$$ and Billie Eilish lead the week’s Best New Tracks.
