After teasing the project for more than a year and a half, the first trailer for Marvel‘s new animated series I Am Groot is finally here. Just as the show’s name suggests, the new series follows the Guardians of the Galaxy’s Baby Groot on his little adventures while growing up all over again.

Despite being much higher pitched now, Vin Diesel will be reprising his role as the titular character, performing his signature phrase. The character’s partner in crime Rocket Raccoon will also be joining the series, and Bradley Cooper will reprise his role too. Five episodes will air featuring one animated short each, but it’s unclear for now whether Groot’s adventures will play into the larger plot of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For fans of the playful character, I Am Groot will premiere on Disney+ on August 10.

Elsewhere in the MCU, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is returning for an 18-episode season on Disney+.
