Sulvam and Danner Deliver a Joint "Danner-S" Project for FW22
Styled by an eclectic cast of seniors.
Sulvam, a label established in 2013 by Teppei Fujita, taps classic heavy-duty boot brand Danner for a special Fall/Winter 2022 project dubbed “Danner-S.” For the collaborative lookbook, a cast of seniors is brought in to style the collection, pictured sipping on boba, making important calls on the fliphone, and listening to music from decade-old headphones through an Apple dongle.
The new pieces introduced are restrained and timeless, fitting naturally on the models. Having experience as a former pattern maker at Yohji Yamamoto, Fujita’s creations are distinguishable by their material quality, cutting, and in this case, oversized co-branding labels found on the left sleeve and hems. Highlights include hunting shirts, plaid jackets, corduroy suits, white flight jackets, wool overcoats, and hooded corduroy trench coats while additional accessories feature a Chicago White Sox hat and leather-trimmed gloves.
