It's a New Age for RANRA as It Takes Luxury to the Mountains for SS23
Formally known as Arnar Már Jónsson, RANRA making a fresh start as they explore the new avenues for clothing creation.
You may have heard of London-based, Icelandic-born designer Arnar Már Jónsson for its thoughtful approach to technical sportswear. The label often blurs the lines between sport and modern luxury with obvious nods to the durability of mountaineering outerwear. However, now the brand is now going by a new name: RANRA, as it looks to explore new creative avenues for clothing design.
Arnar Már Jónsson’s DNA is still there for all to see, but with a new name and a brand shift, a new identity driven by fresh styles and inspirations is born. For Spring/Summer 2023, RANRA focuses on natural materials and collaborative practices, resulting in a collection that delivers technical gear updated for today.
For SS23, RANRA presents utility styled trousers along with raw and undyed materials taken from the loom. Technical wools and water-based cotton are used, along with oversized silhouettes with contrasting color pairings. Other collection highlights include the baggy knitwear that comes in both long-sleeved and sleeveless designs. A variation of caps are also available along with a selection of rain-proof hooded designs and straight-legged, airy-fitting jogging bottoms.
