Boucheron's New "Ailleurs HJ" Collection Imagines Five Different Worlds

Founded in 1858 by Frederic Boucheron, now Kering-owned French luxury jewelry and watch name, Boucheron, is presenting its latest free and audacious classics of tomorrow with its “Ailleurs HJ” collection. The range of contemporary jewelry designed by Creative Director Claire Choisne and her studio develops a sense of “elsewhere.”

The range breaks barriers building on an interplay of raw states that “reveal the beauty and poetry of nature.” The “Ailleurs HJ” collection presents five different worlds that cohesively express the essence of the series of women’s, and for the first time ever for the HJ collection, men’s offerings.

The leading world of the “SAND WOMAN” presents a palette of beige, sand, and blond, developing a sunlight scape of warm wind hitting the dunes. The series features a mix of stones, plants, precious metals, and rattan, like the Rotin Diamant Necklace. The piece features natural rattan fiber placed on a brass frame with a golden rod fixture to create a contrast of suppleness to hard materials. All accented by a cushion of 2-carat diamonds and paved diamonds in white and yellow gold. The “LEAF WOMAN” centers around vibrant tropical colors exemplified by vegetal herbaceous Feuillage Diamant Cuff Bracelet set off by 37.97-carat green tourmaline and thin lines of diamonds and a soft aluminum base.

Moving on, the “EARTH WOMAN” line utilizes primal geology to develop the power of nature. Expressing a palette of ochre, brown, and clay with organic shapes, like on the Bois Diamant Brooch. The magnetic shoulder brooch with Palissandre de Santos chromatic rosewood petals on an openwork white gold structure paired with titanium pistils and paved diamonds. While the “PEBBLE WOMAN” utilizes authentic white pebbles, showcased on the Galet Diamant Necklace in a translucent nature. Adorn with white gold tattoos and pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds to form a striking link.

Finally, the first-of-its-kind, “VOLCANO MAN” range plays with a classic tone mix of black and white. Exploring the contrast through the spiral shell structure airbrushed Coquillage Necklace in mother-of-pearl, paved with diamonds in white gold. Continued on the Bois Brûlé Diamant Necklace in Japanese “chou sugi ban” charred three-thousand-year-old marsh oak paved with diamonds in white gold. Finished with the wolf and octopus displays on the Loup Ring in meteorite, paved with white and gray diamonds, onyx in white gold and platinum, and the Octopus Earring formed with 178 mother-of-pearl pastilles and 443 brilliant-cut paved diamonds, in white gold.
