Nike and its beloved Air Max 1 have been going full steam in 2022. The Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette has indulged in various collaborative projects with the likes of Travis Scott and Kasina, and now it will be extending its run with a brand new team-up alongside Patta. The Dutch imprint’s “The Waves” assemblage is set to welcome in a new brown colorway, and it has just been revealed by way of official imagery.

Luxe brown leather is called upon to form the Swooshes, overlays on the lateral and medial quarters as well as the signature wavy-shaped mudguards that run from the toe tips to the back. Mesh underlays and the forefoot Swooshes match up with their lighter gray skins while slivers of metallic silver outline the aforementioned Swooshes. Furthermore, the interior liners are done up with a magenta-esque purple while muted teal accents are found on the eyelets and Nike Air branding that’s embroidered into the rear. Co-branded text arrives on the tongues while Patta’s moniker is printed across the inserts.

No official launch info has been announced just yet, but it’s likely that these will be dropping in the coming months for $160 USD.

In other news, Stüssy and Nike’s Air Max 2015 “Black” and “Pink” colorways have emerged.
