Air Jordan 36 Luka Doncic "El Matador" Has an Official Release Date
Arriving at the end of August.
Jordan Brand continues to pay homage to one of the young greats in the NBA with a special edition of the Air Jordan 36. Its latest iteration pays tribute to Dallas Mavericks‘ superstar Luka Doncic and his nickname the “El Matador.”
The shoe comes dressed in a color scheme that blends Chile Red, University Red, Metallic Gold and Black as a nod to Doncic’s days playing for Real Madrid. This particular pair of Air Jordan 36 is constructed with an all-red base, featuring detail in gold, heavily inspired by the traditional bullfighting costumes, the traje de luces, that hail from Spain. An additional bit of detailing can be seen on the inner tongues and back heel tabs where the word “El Matador” is stitched. Gold lace tips and a red outsole complete the design of the shoe.
Look out for the Air Jordan 36 Luka Doncic “El Matdor” set to arrive in select retailers and on Nike on August 31 for $200 USD.
