A. A. Spectrum’s "GEOFLOWPOLIS" SS23 Collection Is All About Personal Reflection
Featuring T-shirts crafted from hemp to reduce water wastage.
China-based label A. A. Spectrum has just unveiled its collection for Spring/Summer 2023, entitled “GEOFLOWPOLIS.” Presenting a selection of fitted silhouettes that are constructed with durability in mind, the brand wants its wearers to reflect on personal stories through the spectrum of fashion.
The new season welcomes details such as flowing cut lines, blurring the boundaries between technical outerwear and contemporary fashion. Wash and over-drying processes are used along with cut and sew styles that play with fabric transparency and contrast colors.
Collection highlights include the “SAFARI” jacket — with a matching, directional floppy hat — that features fully waterproof seam taping, zippers, and three-layer functional fabric. “GEOFLOWPOLIS” also includes styles such as the “DRESSEN” and “SHORE” shirts that present unique tie-die designs with one-of-one design outlines. Other outerwear silhouettes are the “ALLEYCAT” jacket, constructed from cracked shell fabric that’s designed to return to its original shape when it’s been stretched.
Rounding off the collection, the “PLUME PUFFER” has been designed with a faded effect, while the “GREAT WALL” vest has been made from a lightweight ripstop shell. A. A. Spectrum has used hemp across a number of its T-shirt styles to reduce water wastage and to avoid pesticides.
