Beyoncé Drops New A Capella and Instrumental Versions of "Break My Soul"
Bey also revealed the alternate album artwork for the limited-edition ’Renaissance’ vinyl.
Beyoncé has dropped new a capella and instrumental versions of her Renaissance lead single “Break My Soul,” ahead of the record’s release on Friday, July 29.
Alongside the two new renditions, Queen Bey revealed the alternate album artwork for the limited-edition Renaissance vinyl, which sees the chart-topper wearing a crystal dress and a cowboy hat while seated atop the same mystical horse from the original cover. Inside, the vinyl features art from the Renaissance era, four close-ups of the singer-songwriter and imagery of Beyoncé lying back on the horse with a mic in her hand.

The record, which will arrive as a follow-up to Lemonade, includes contributions from a slew of top-shelf composers, including Drake, Jay-Z, Skrillex, The-Dream, Honey Dijon, Labrinth, Raphael Saadiq, Tems, Syd, Lucky Daye, Leven Kali, Dixson, No I.D. and 070 Shake. Additionally, Renaissance samples music from Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder, James Brown and others.
Earlier this week, Bey took to social media to reveal the full tracklist for the album, which includes 16 songs and a slew of intriguing titles, including “America Has a Problem,” “Church Girl,” “Alien Superstar,” “Cuff It,” “Thique” and more.
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world,” Bey previously said in a statement. “It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.”
