Official Images of the Nike SB Dunk Low "Dodgers"
The Blue Crew gets their own special colorway.
One collection that has seen a steady rollout from the Nike team this year is its MLB-inspired capsule that entails multiple SB Dunk colorways that are each devoted to a certain team. Some of the franchises that are included in the range include the New York Mets, San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers, the latter of which has just now been revealed through official images.
Everything from the color palette to the design details that are incorporated on the interior side of the shoes are a homage to The Blue Crew. The LA squad’s signature white and blue hues make their way onto the base layer, the former of which dresses the toe boxes, quarters, tongues, interior lining and collars while the latter shows face on the Swooshes and buttery suede overlays. Nike branding on the tongues and heels are readied with bold red outers to mimic the club’s accent color. Furthermore, you’ll find playful salutes to the Dodgers via the interior tongue graphics which split between a palm tree on the left shoe and the silhouette of the team’s “Welcome to Dodger Stadium” sign.
No release date has been confirmed yet but skate shops are expected to drop these in the coming months.
