In 2022, New Balance has carried over well-earned momentum with collaborative hits and thoughtful designs. As a result, the American sportswear brand continues to expand its range of offerings. Now, the MADE in UK line which operates across the pond from Teddy Santis’ MADE in USA division, continues its “Selected Edition” series with the MADE in UK 991. The color palette hit the MADE in UK 1500 in June and was met with high demand.

Key elements carrying over from the first “Selected Edition” colorway includes the premium materials and its bold color scheme. The upper serves as the most notable portion of this 991 colorway as it utilizes a mix of pigskin, nubuck, leather and mesh throughout. While cited as a “Grey with black and green” coloring, there are additional hits of brown and blue at the heel and mudguard respectively. Opting to serve a smaller role this time, pink subtly joins the look on the 991 branding at the heel. A black rubber outsole and ABZORB midsole offers comfort to complete this premium colorway.

The MADE in UK 991 “Selected Edition” is available now in limited volumes via New Balance at a price of $240 USD.

Elsewhere in the world of footwear, an early look at the thisisneverthat x New Balance 2002R has surfaced.
