Hublot Heads To The Mediterranean With Summertime Capsule Collection
Ceramic Chronos available from Hublot boutiques in three resorts.
Hublot has dropped a three-watch capsule collection celebrating summer in three luxurious Mediterranean destinations.
The three ceramic boutique limited edition chronographs take their name from Ibiza, Capri and St Tropez – where they are also offered for sale at their respective Hublot boutiques – and feature elements in varying shades of blue.
Limited to just 30 pieces, Big Bang Unico St-Tropez Boutique conveys the turquoise blue seas of the resort’s Tahiti and Pampelonne beaches. Powered by a UNICO V2 manufacture chronograph movement with 72-hour power reserve. The watch’s ceramic bezel, rubber strap, indices, numerals and hands are picked out in turquoise blue, contrasting against its bead-blasted black ceramic case.
The Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Ceramic Blue Ibiza Boutique is limited to 50 pieces and is available at the brand’s pop-up Port Esportiu Marina boutique, open only during the summer months. The 45mm watch’s color palatte of is said to reflect “the island’s white walls and the deep blue of the horizon from Cala Conta, the contrasting shades underneath the boats moored at Cala Saladeta and the seabed at Cala Xarraca.”
The watch is powered by a HUB1155 self-winding chronograph movement and a power reserve of 42 hours. It is secured on a blue alligator strap with contrasting white stitching and stripe.
The 45mm Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Ceramic Capri Boutique, limited to 50 pieces, takes the color of its ceramic bezel and strap from the turquoise waters of the island’s Grotta Azzura and its ceramic case from the dark grey of the sea cave itself.
The Hublot summer capsule collection is available now via the three Hublot boutiques, with prices starting from $18,500 USD.
