Diesel's Spring 2023 Show Will Be Open to the Public
The brand will launch an online registration portal on September 1.
Diesel creative director Glenn Martens will open his Spring 2023 show to the public during September’s Milan Fashion Week, according to WWD. The presentation, which will constitute an all-gender wardrobe, will follow Marten’s first physical runway show for the brand in February in Milan.
“There’s a fun factor to Diesel, a joy factor,” Martens said in a statement to the outlet. “The identity of Diesel is very clear and it’s not too serious, which is why I think people are obsessed with the brand all over again. With this opening, we want to bring the energy that only people who love the brand or are curious to see what’s next can add to a fashion show.”
Martens, who staged a repeat show for the Fall 2022 collection in Tokyo in June, has had quite the eventful year — among the visionary’s ever-expanding list of feats are Y/Project’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection, an in-house collaborative collection with Jean Paul Gaultier and a Diesel x Tom of Finland Pride capsule.
On September 1, Diesel will launch an online registration portal where anyone can sign up to view the show in person on a first-come, first-serve basis. The brand will also livestream the show across its social media channels.
