BIGHIT Music is asking the ARMYs, the fanbase of BTS, to stay vigilant regarding “malicious postings” involving the group.

The label took to Weverse to confirm that it is not taking this issue lightly, and that it regularly takes legal action against “perpetrators of malicious activities related to BTS, including defamation, personal attacks, sexual harassment, the spread of groundless information, and ill-intentioned criticism.” BIGHIT also shared that it recently “filed additional criminal complaints against postings with personal attacks and defamation using new information provided by fans as well as collected through our monitoring initiatives.”

In addition, BIGHIT warned that “there will be no settlement nor leniency” as one accused person “recently attempted to settle the case” to no avail. “We would like to stress that we will continue to initiate strict measures to ensure that these malicious acts are not repeated, and our policy of no settlement and no leniency remains in effect.” Specific details of the complaint were not divulged due to its legal nature, but BIGHIT reiterated that “reports from our fans are very helpful in responding to such activities” and that they can make the report to an email address.

Elsewhere in music, Kid Cudi’s A Kid Named Cudi is finally coming to streaming service.
