Kendrick Lamar and Taylour Paige’s collaborative Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers cut “We Cry Together” experienced the biggest single-week Billboard Hot 100 drop in history.

According to Chart Data, the track dropped a total of 81 spots on this week’s chart from No. 16 to No. 97. “We Cry Together” officially overtook A$AP Ferg and MadeinTYO’s “Move Ya Hips,” which went down 80 spots to No. 19 from No. 99 in a week.

“We Cry Together,” which is widely considered as one of the strongest cuts on the album, may experience a surge again, however, as Paige recently took to Instagram to tease the track’s music video. “F*ck you @kendricklamar,” she wrote in the caption, capturing the essence of the emotionally-heavy song.

Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers moved down to No. 2 on this week’s Billboard 200. It spent its debut week at No. 1 and briefly held the record for 2022’s biggest opening week so far until it was overtaken by Harry Styles’ Harry House.
