In the growing fashion landscape, several brands are rooting their philosophy in not just clothes, but deeper social values. In tune with this mission, Sans Gêne is the new unisex label committed to humanity.
Founded by Caroline McCaul, the new label recently launched its debut collection for the Pre-Fall 2022 season. With a genderless design focus, the brand champions the dissolution of binary constructs and a heightened focus on human issues. Specifically, the brand wants to expand the expression of fashion while simultaneously focusing on philanthropic partnerships.
Made in Italy, the debut collection features a relaxed and functional aesthetic illustrated by viscose sets, knitwear, outerwear, hoodies, oversized lounge pants and layered shirts dipped in staple shades of black, sand, camel and sage. Outerwear serves as a collection highlight with hooded cotton trench coats, convertible nylon bomber jackets and multi-fabric bomber jackets that intertwine utilitarian style notes. For an eye-catching alternative, oversized viscose sets with textural all-over logo prints appear in mint, fog and black.
As the focus on humanity is paramount, a portion of the proceeds from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection will benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
